With Woolgar Hunter, a renowned Scottish civil engineering firm, the mission entrusted to me went beyond a simple graphic redesign: it involved creating an integrated communications department within a technical company, a first in the sector. I thus designed, from A to Z, the magazine LAYOUT — an ambitious editorial project that transformed traditional B2B communication into a visual and informative experience anticipated by clients.
From visual identity to layout, including photography, illustrations, iconographic choices and art direction, every detail was designed to embody the excellence and innovation of Woolgar Hunter. I reimagined their existing materials (flyers, occasional campaigns) to create a reference magazine, distributed in several thousand copies, offering readers privileged access to news and issues in civil engineering in Scotland.
This project marked a turning point: LAYOUT positioned Woolgar Hunter as an essential player, while disrupting the codes of B2B communication in a sector often perceived as technical and lacking creativity.
